Overview
Supports fellowships for outstanding graduate students pursuing full-time, research-based master's and doctoral degrees in STEM fields, including STEM education. The fellowship provides three years of support over a five-year fellowship period.

Funding coverage
- $37,000 annual stipend for each of 3 years of support
- $16,000 Cost of Education allowance per year (in lieu of tuition and mandatory fees)
- 3 years of support over a 5-year Fellowship period
- Fellowship is portable and can be transferred to a different institution after the first Fellowship year
- Approximately 1,500 new fellowships awarded annually
